2024 Tackle Football

Welcome

Registration is now open.  A $25 late fee will be added after June 1 and an additional $50 fee will be added after July 1st.  Please register early to avoid the late fees.  See website for additional information.

2024 Rules

In 2023, MYFA switched leagues and now competes in the WJYFL.

  1. 90 # Team:
    • Must be 8 or under as of September 1
    • 89.9 & under can play any position and 90 and up must play T2T.
  2. 105 # Team:
    • Must be 10 or under as of September 1
    • 104.9 & under can play any position and 105 and up must play T2T.
  3. 120# Team:
    • Must be 12 or under of September 1.
    • 119.9 & under can play any position and 120 and up must play T2T.
  4. Unlimited:
    • Must be 14 or under as of September 1 (no 9th graders permitted)
    • 144.9 & under can play any position and 145 and up must play T2T.

Welcome to the 2024 Tackle Football Registration with Moorestown Youth Football Association!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.

Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.   For the registration, you will need the following five items: 1) Insurance information;2) Proof of Birth Date, 3) Jersey Number Preference; 4) Player’s hat size or head circumference and 5) Shoulder pad size.  The school registration documentation is not required.

To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or ACH Bank Account information available.

Key Dates:

  1. Preseason Practice Starts: August 6th

  2. Weigh-ins: End of August.

  3. Football Jamboree - August 23

  4. 9-weeks season - 8 games plus one bye.

    1. September (4) - 9/7, 14, 21, 28

    2. October (4) - 10/5, 12, 19, 26

    3. November (1) - 11/1

  5. Playoffs: 11/9, 16

  6. Championship Game: 11/23

  7. Banquet date - 11/26

JV Team Notice

In 2023, MYFA switched leagues and now competes in the WJYFL.   While the League does not offer a JV League, they will help coordinate games and referees for teams that want to play JV games. 

If there are enough players for a JV Team, the goal is to get 4-6 JV games.
